Create Trains to my awareness need at least a 5x5 Nether Portal depending on their size. Also think another coke oven may be needed since the creosote needed down the road might be used for upgrade progression.

Create treats any fluid source with more than ten thousand buckets as an infinite source so if you use the hose pulley in the nether it's easy infinite lava. The only issue now is transporting between dimensions but that can be solved with trains.

TIP: With access to the fluid cell, fluid pumps have become 100% unnecessary, because the cell can do both push and pull at the same time. as long as you don't need to cover more than 1 block distance, because Create's fluid pipes don't have an actual fluid buffer to push into or pull from. However, you can also just use Integrated Dynamics for longer distance fluid transfer. InDy can do items, fluids, as well as energy and even redstone transfer.

Most of the time when you're working on create and feel like it can be more efficient the answer will be encased chain drives. They're so amazing

BTW i think its better to make a steam engine and fuel it with lava from the nether(manually pick it up from time to time the blaze burner if u give it a straw doesn't consume that much at all just hook it up with fluid pipes) and then make a create based tree farm. its much better and simpler than having to refill the materials to make the compressed mechanism. And all u gotta do is refill the lava for like 5 mins and ur good for days

You might consider making another Create bulk smelting setup in place of a furnace. Not only does it save on fuel, but it’s faster for stacks of items

Fun fact is When using only coke for power The creosote bucket (reservoir or other fluid containers get destroyed upon used to burn) put inside generator from integrated dynamics (you need like 8 per dynamo that uses coke) and it generates avarage almost 140rf/t from 6 coke ovens (which little bit of coke suprlass) and another 5rf tick avarage from sticks (i haven't tested if they can be put in dynamo) This requires a fluid transposer loop with buckets so it's quite easy to set up and it's almost 50% extra power Source of coal is the 3 crafters with sawmill coal trick No wool alternative that's arguably easier to make
